I've enjoyed a handful of very nice and very French-feeling meals at Cyrano's over the years. Has anyone been in since they've undergone 'the change?'
Was considering going back for a celebratory meal, but a bit uncertain, not knowing exactly what to expect now or how it's working out.

We were there about a month ago for a late-ish evening dinner and enjoyed our meal. The decor is now rustic, and the restaurant employs the trendy clipboard with photocopied menus, which I dislike, but the food was very good. We had a great charcuterie plate to start from the specials. I don't remember exactly what all was on it, but everything was excellent and at a very fair price. There were only a few toast points, and some would definitely want more for that amount of meat and pâté. We also had some a perfectly prepared asparus, in vinaigrette I think, with a boiled egg that still had a soft yolk. I had the rotisserie duck (I think that was on the old menu), and it was great: crispy skin, juicy meat, just luscious. Cabbagehead had a cod special, the details of which escape us. He enjoyed it quite a bit. We split a very nice dessert but we can't remember the details--it included ice cream flavored with pepper and something. It sounds strange but it was good. We each chose a good wine by the glass for our meals.

The service was a bit odd. Both the host and the waiter were warm, but the food did take a long time to come out. The place was not crowded. We did not mind a very deliberate pace that evening, but based on our one visit, I wouldn't go there if I were in a hurry. Overall, though, we enjoyed it and expect to return.
