When I worked in the loop I used to frequent this place often.

It's good and on the healthy side as well.

It was in one of the malls around there, 500 block, west side of the street. Also had a Lego store. Now that I think about it, all I ever wanted as a kid was Fluky's and Legos. Kinda all I want now, too. That's my kind of mall.

As discussed in this other thread the Fluky's in Nordstrom's food court closed in 2006. There is only a single Fluky's left—inside the Wal-Mart in Niles. Unfortunately, the quality of their hot dogs has declined dramatically. In my mind, Fluky's has ceased to exist.

Thanks for the thread link. One thing I really love about this site are all the forgotten details that get filled in from my food experiences as a kid (my memory = done broke). There's lots of places on the north side I just plain forgot until I read someone on this board reminiscing about it. Pretty cool.
Not cool, however, is the undeserving fate of the last Fluky's outpost to be purgatoried in a damn-ass suburban Walmart. That steams me, big time.
I hate kettle cooked chips. It takes too much effort to crunch through them.
