Alan, thought I'd add Carniceria Guanajuato at Belmont/California to tacos in your (new) general area. Its a darn good Mexican grocery w/meat counter, produce, dry goods and a terrific taqueria. They even have a parking lot. There's a second branch on Ashland.

Taqueria Traspasada, a few doors North on California, is solid though I've only had breakfast type plate lunches there. If memory serves they expand the menu to include goat on the weekends.
