While I commend Winnetka for attracting another grocer, I am skeptical about the "40 dedicated parking spots for shoppers" part of the article. Where? In the Winnetka village square? Something doesn't add up here at all.

Fratello's Deli and Catering marked the opening of its shop at 18201 Dixie Highway with a salami-cutting ceremony.
Homewood Mayor Richard Hofeld did the honors during an opening reception Friday. The shop will open for business Monday, May 11, with regular hours of 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. during the week and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.
Co-owner Adrian Martino said the shop is the realization of an idea he and co-owner Marco Caso had about 14 years ago when both were working in a delivery business.
The deli offers fresh meats, dessert delicacies from Sweet Annie's in Flossmoor, sandwiches, wraps and pasta dishes, from pollo caprese to buffalo blue chicken and rigatoni a la vodka. The shelves are stocked with pastas, spices and other ingredients for Italian cooking, from roasted peppers to lupini beans.
The dining area has nine tables.

Rubino's Seafood at Halsted and Lake St closed in March 2015 and moved to 4949 Elston in Mayfair. Besides their normal wholesale biz they now have a retail outlet in their cooler. Going back to take photos and check out their offerings got there just a little while ago when they were closing up. Only opened until 3:30pm right now.

A Southeast Asian-inspired Chipotle offshoot is planning to open its first Chicago restaurant on West Jackson Boulevard in the Loop this fall. ShopHouse is patterned after the assembly-line style quick-service concept pioneered by the Denver-based burrito chain. It focuses on the cuisines of Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
Grand Opening of 1st "Sutadonya" in the U.S.!! Congratulations! Pronounced "Sue tah don yah"
After about a month in business, Heavenston Eatery (aka Brown Sack 2.0) has closed. Apparently, it was too hard sharing space with a nonprofit. Too bad, the slow-roasted pork was as great as ever.
Chef Rick Bayless' Randolph Street project will be a brewery, his team announced Friday. The new brewery, under development at 900 W. The brewery, slated to open later this year, will include a tasting room, food service and growler program, Bayless' team said.

I believe the correct address is 1562 N Wells, at North Avenue. 1962 N Wells would be near Damen, and I do not recall a Boston Market there. Here is an Eater link to confirm the location: http://chicago.eater.com/2015/5/22/8645 ... ton-market

Wells and Damen are both north-south streets and thus do not intersect. You may be confusing Damen (2000W) with Armitage (2000N). Although Wells only goes as far north as about 1850 N where it runs into Lincoln, and Armitage ends at Clark, so neither one reaches their hypothetical intersection in the middle of the park.

Yes, I totally goofed on the 2000 W = Damen and N = Armitage thing. Bottom line, Boston Market was at Wells and North, 1562 N Wells.![]()
The location is at/near North Avenue, a few doors up from Up Down Tobacco, IIRC.

Now what's the new place that started all this talk?
The restaurant group behind the newly opened Remington's and Lakeview staple Crosby's Kitchen plans a new American restaurant called The Windsor for the space at 160 E. Huron St. formerly occupied by Elephant & Castle.
