New baby, need food

Good friends of ours just had their first baby. We thought it appropriate to send a meal to them this weekend. They live in the Diversey/Ashland area, and I'm not that familiar with restaurants around there. I'm also trying to be sensitive to meals the new mom might like (Dad will eat anything). My thoughts so far have been Art of Pizza, Hearty Boys, The Bagel, and Hai Yen, though I don't think they've had their grand opening yet. Also, should be delivered...they're not ready for many visitors.

One of my favorite gifts when our first baby was born was a gift certificate to a restaurant delivery service. (It'll cost more for each meal, but that way they get some choice and can order at a time that's convenient for them.) CEO Deliveries offers gift certificates and will either mail or hand deliver them.

I remember when my son was born that the weird food cravings/aversions that occured during my pregnancy continued to affect me for some time after: I couldn't stand the smell of tomatoes or blue cheese, for instance, and craved spinach. You might want to check with the new Mom as to what her tastebuds are craving and then decide where you want to go.
