Lem's on vacation until August 23

This is a public service announcement. Be aware that Lem's is closed for vacation through August 22nd and will be reopening on Monday, August 23rd.

Under no circumstances should you accept a family commitment in Blue Island with the notion in the back of your mind that at least you can stop at Lem's on the way home. Watching the clock tick . . . sloooowwwllllyy . . . and squirming in your seat with boredom but thinking "Mmmm, ribs and hot links - just hang in there" to sustain your soul until Lem's can sustain your belly - only to be crushed when you finally drive up to see the "closed for vacation sign" is not a fate I would wish on anyone else.

A serviceable and, as always, friendly meal was had at White Palace instead but it just didn't hit the notes on the sheet music my palate had scripted all day.
