So, I think I've mentioned that James and I eat out a lot already ... LOL - but, if I want Mexican ... James and I go to Grande Jakes ...

    http://www.grandejakes.com/ - this is their website ...

.. I usually get the Cowboy Chimichanga ... most of the time, I can't finish it because it's so big, but I try to scarf it all down in one sitting ... they have a self-serve beverage bar and a self-serve chip bar. Their chips are always made fresh and have a hint of lime and salt on them. They have various salsas like mole, fire, and medium and a bunch of other stuff. The Steak Oaxaquena is really good ... the steak is grilled to perfection. I almost forgot that their cinnamon chips are a great dessert that definitely satisfies one's sweet tooth ... YUM YUM YUM!

Grande Jakes is right next door to my chiropractor, where I will be tomorrow morning. Unfortunately, too early for lunch. But if I ever have a later appointment, I will be sure to check them out.

LOL - you won't be disappointed at all ... if you have time to burn, they have a PacMan video game there too ... the nostalgia!

... you can always go to Twisted Cow which is a couple doors down, if you ever need an ice cream fix. There is always RJ's Eatery too - which is across the street ... just don't go to Chopstix ... they're yuckie!

The little bakery at the far west end of that strip mall is decent, in a way. The cinnamon bread is pretty good, and they make good, standard donuts and sell them insanely cheap. I always like to fill up on lard and sugar immediately after leaving the chiropractor's office; something about all those holistic medicine/diet posters on the walls leaves me feeling insatiably hungry.
