    Obvious, high-end and unadventurous, but certainly positive -- if a trifle condescending: "Its sobriquet as the "Second City" has been well earned in the arts and business, and its gastronomy draws on a spirit of largess. Chicagoans expect a square meal for a square deal, and restaurateurs are careful to give it to them."
