Does anyone know of any Chicagoland restaurants offering any Super Bowl specials? I found blue and orange sushi at Tsunami but that's about it.

I need to write a story with recipes for my newspaper, but I can't really find anything beyond typical bar food.

Also, if there are any Indy restaurants with Colts specials, keep me posted!

    Behold! Mmmmm.....tasty!

NOTE: Doug's will be closed tomorrow for inventory. The Man will be up and cheerfully running again on Wednesday @ 10:30AM.

I can't remember who it was, but someone was serving marlin during the 2003 NLCS. Anyone here have colt on the menu?

HotDoug should put a Horse Sausage
on the menu; so you're not so askeered
when you're getting slapped by it on
    February 4th.

    HI,

I picked this up from Chicago Magazine Morsels e-mail:

Do your part to beat the Saints by eating a Bears Special dog (New Orleans andouille sausage with blue cheese and sautéed carrots in a ginger peach glaze; $5) at Fredhots and Fries (1707 Chestnut Ave., Glenview; 847-657-9200).

He is probably doing the same or with a phone call you may learn what is this week's variant.

    Regards,

At Cafe Selmarie we have Chicago Bears Sugar Cookies. We actually had a request for Patriots cookies from someone this past week! Can you believe that?

There's a wild game market in Gary that advertises in south suburb newspapers around the holidays. If you're looking to grill up some horsemeat on Super Bowl Sunday, they probably have it! I know that they have bear meat and rattlesnake, among other things.

It might make for some nice half-time entertainment.

How about Wild Game, Inc. in Lyons? Are they still around?
