I haven't tried most of the joints on the list, but I have tried Wing Stop. It seems very similar to Buffalo Wild Wings, which is not as good as Buffalo Joe's in my book. Bar-style wings are not my specialty, unfortunately, so I defer to those who have sampled the rest for more educated opinions.

The Wing Stop is the only one I've tried too. I would concur that they are not as good as Buffalo Joe's, but they are still pretty good.

http://www.wivb.com/Global/story.asp?S= ... v=0RapQX5p This is what's going on in my neck of the woods. Too bad I don't have a small jet plane (BBQ-1) so a few members could go back and forth. What a good time that would be. You all know Buffalo has the best wings. :D

I'm not sure I've ever just got wings from Tropic Island, but as has been described quite a few times on CH, they make proabably the best Jerk in town, and they're homemade hot sauce is quite a treat.

i went to the spring version of this event (was it spring?) and it was CRAZY crowded. it was such a pain to get wings because of the crowds that we didn't eat much, and it was hard to differentiate between the different restaurants. i love wings and was really excited about going, but i wouldn't go back. plus, they advertised that they would have beer specials, which turned out to be only amstel light at not-that-special a price. maybe it won't be as crowded since this is the second one.
