Has anyone tried the Breakfast Brioche Tart from the bakery at Fox & Obel?
I think it's similar to the crème fraiche tart made by Nancy Silverton (La Brea Bakery). It was almost discontinued due to low sales, but after feedback from customers it was recently reinstated. I think their bakery is really wonderful and it’s important to support artisanal bakers like executive chef Pamela Fitzpatrick who use the best ingredients & put so much care into their products. (I also recommend the cinnamon rolls and brownies.)

( BTW - I am in no way affiliated with Fox & Obel!)

I think I know the one you're talking about, and yes, I've tried it and I like it a lot. I was wondering what that filling was; it's vaguely creamy/cheesy but not exactly like anything else I could identify. And with the somewhat crispy crust (denser than a regular brioche), it's really nice, slightly sweet.

I don't always get it because I really love their cinnamon twist rolls, and I usually need to decide on one or the other, and the cinnamon twist rolls are so wonderful that the brioche tart loses out.

For another recommendation, their bran muffins are the best in the world.

Disclaimer: I don't work at Fox and Obel.
