How do these compare to Walker Brothers Pancake house? We are looking for something similar with tables not so close together and quiter.

My experience there is limited. The menu is standard breakfast fare. It's no less crowded than Walker Bros. I would try it for your own comparison. I was there with my two kids, so I didn't pay attention to much more than them.

I know that we would eat there again, but there are other places that we like better. Eggshell Cafe on Lake Cook and George's What's Cooking on Waukegan are our favorites.

Thanks for the ideas. We have tried What's Cooking on Waukegan and thought it was ok. I like the one in Lincoln Village shopping center better -great Jewish food. I am going to look into Egg Shell cafe. Thanks again.

Granny's sucks! Sorry to be blunt but for some reason my parents love the place and I think it's medicore at best. Your better off pretty much anywhere else for breakfast

I like Egg Harbor in Glenview. There are quite a few of these restaurants.

There is another restaurant in Deerfield that is a breakfast/lunch place.
