Best/worst meals: tell our radio audience 11/21 11 am to 3

Dear LTHers--

First, I apologize for the slightly off-topic post, but I'd like your help: My name is Dan Weissmann, and I'm a host on a new local radio station, vocalo.org. We're something of an audio bulletin-board: Our broadcast is a mix of material that listeners have recorded and uploaded to our web site, plus some live talk and some music. We're on the air in NW Indiana at 89.5 FM, and webcasting everywhere else.

I'm a sometime lurker on LTH Forums, and I'd love to hear some of the voices here on our radio station-- starting now.

I'm on the air Nov. 21 from 11 to 3, talking about food, and I'd love to hear from LTHers on one of my favorite topics here: What's the best meal in town that nobody (except the members of this list) knows about?

Here are three ways to contribute:

1. Write to onair@vocalo.org with a phone number where you can be reached between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Weds. Nov. 21.
* Please let us know when the *best time* is to call.
* And if you want to tell us in the email what restaurant/meal you want to describe on the air, great; but if you want to surprise us, by all means do.
* Just write in with your phone number and the *best* time to reach you between 11:00 and 3:00, and we'll give you a ring live from the studio.

2. Post a text response to this item on my playlist for tomorrow. (Click the "make addition" link to start typing.) We'll read it on the air.

3. Leave a message at 888-635-1112 *before* 11:00 a.m. on Weds. We may be able to put the message on the air before 3:00. (And if not, we'll get your message on the air as soon as we can.)
