Post #1 - December 5th, 2007, 6:29 pmI have been having a craving for sopapillas and great mole for myself, and I'd like to also be able to pick up good al pastor tacos for a friend of mine.
I'm looking for recommendations on the north and northwest side of Chicago.

Post #2 - December 5th, 2007, 6:46 pmSol de Mexico has the biggest selection of moles in the area. It's on the 3000 block of North Cicero. It's not really a taquería or a taco kind of place, though. Sol de Mexico for the moles, maybe Carniceria Leon (or whatever its new name is) for the pastor, and and Zia's for the sopapillas (which are New Mexican, not Mexican).
