North Suburbs Restaurant Help

I live in the city and work in Northbrook. My company is having a group dinner for about 15-20 people and would like to have it at a nice, upscale restaurant with good food in the North Suburbs (Northbrook, Deerfield, Wheeling, etc). At our event last year, we went to Osteria di Tramonto (Wheeling at the Westin Hotel), which had a great private room and the food was excellent. Would like to go somewhere on par (or better!) but am having trouble finding something. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Have you considered Prairie Grass Cafe on Skokie Rd. in Northbrook? I think the food is very good. You might also want to search the site -- I'm sure this issue has come up before.

I know Wildfire in Lincolnshire and Glenview both have private rooms that could accommodate your size group; if you're not opposed to a LEYE, they have a real nice dinner package that's about $30/pp from apps to dessert.

On a much more casual note, there's always Hackneys, the Wheeling location is a kind of dump but the burgers are good. Bob Chinn's has space as well. I live in NOrthbrook and these are both real close to me.

Demetri's on Lake Cook across from Home Depot has a reasonable group setup as well.
