ok I'm taking this girl who I would like to start dating to see Wilco at the Riv on Friday and am looking for a place to catch a bite to eat or get a good beer before the show

I'm a vegetarian but she eats meat ... any suggestions would be more than welcome

There is a cool , hip Indian restaurant called Marigold a couple of blocks North on Broadway. Also just North is a new bar called Fat Cat that has some cool cocktails and decent beer list.

I have never been there, but I have heard really good things about Silver Seafood, located at 4829 N Broadway. A Chinese restaurant with a seafood focus, I bet it would have vegetarian choices for you.

Marigold is very pretty, but I didn't think the food was anything special. It is also very loud inside, so it may not be quite the place to get to know someone.
