Post #1 - March 10th, 2008, 11:02 amI just want to let people know about this great restaurant. I have been there numerous times and NEVER had a meal that wasn't excellent!
I highly recommend the Spicy Tuna Tartar and the Pan Seared Scallops with Butternut Squash Sauce. I have been there for lunch on several occasions and had the Ahi Tuna Salad or the Gyros plate. I can honestly say those Gyros were the best I have ever had and will not eat them now anywhere except for at this place.
Mark Dennis one of the managers was very hospitable and full of information.
Libertyville is very lucky to have this nice neighborhood spot. Plus I love the fireplace out back. :wink:

Since most gyros in Chicago come from one of 2 major producers, I'm wondering if these gyros are made in-house or if there is some other aspect of their preparation which distinguishes them.
