There are often posts on this topic relating to price breaks, so I thought I'd create a place for them to go.

So, Not realizing I was on Hecky's email list, but I just recieved the following that I thought I'd share:

RIB AND CHICKEN NIGHT!
Just a reminder to everyone to let you know that Rib and Chicken night is back for Monday and Tuesday nights. Monday night is rib night, half price on all rib portions, of any kind of rib. Tuesday night is chicken night, which is half price on all chicken which includes delicious smoke wings only available on Tuesday Nights! We cant wait to see you this week!

I had a very nice evening at onesixtyblue last Monday. The first Monday of every month, they offer six wines, each paired with its own amuse bouce, for $35 (not including tax and tip). Considering the quality of onesixtyblue's food (and its usual price point), and the very nice wines they pour, it's a very good deal.

Indeed. That's much nicer than the sticker shock when looking at the menu on a normal day for this place.

I'm somewhat surprised there aren't MORE restaurants deals given the collective tightening of wallets due to our current "economic downturn" and rising cost of food. It seems people are becoming less apt to go to restaurants, but they'll just have to tighten their margins to promote goers.

if you look on metromix, there's pages and pages of deals that many restaurants have daily...and i'm not sure that list even includes everything i've seen. a lot of restaurants do something different every night of the week on a weekly basis...

Quite honestly, one of Chicago's best burgers, my favorite. Of course, cheese and/or fries are additional, but it's still a great deal on a great burger. Been down there most Mondays through the winter. The promotion was supposed to be winter only, through April 14th. But I just received an email saying that the promotion will continue "until the recession is over." And if you go to their website and sign up for promo emails, they'll give you a $5 certificate immediately, as well as a $15 cert around your birthday.
