I ate at Sushi Sai for dinner this week with a loop-dwelling friend and found it to be a pleasant surprise. The prices were very reasonable and the rolls were large and fresh. We ordered 6 rolls and the total including tip came to $60. Maybe that's not such a deal, but after paying upwards of $15 for small "special" maki at another dinner last week, I was happy to see that Sushi Sai's rolls were around $10 each and generous.
My friend told me she tried to go during the week for lunch, and it was totally packed. They have a small sushi bar area so I'm hoping that if I show up alone, I can snag a seat there during the busy times. At dinner it was pretty empty, but that's to be expected in the area, I suppose. I for one am glad to have a sushi place to add to the loop lunch rotation.
