Sears Centre Hoffman Estates

Need someplace to eat before seeing a show at the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates on Wednesday. Will be coming from Chicago. Italian or burgers, nothing too fancy, nothing that would take too long. Any adivice?

If you are not looking for anything fancy but are open to new, adventurous things, perhaps you could visit Cabela's nearby.

They have an indoor restaurant called "Fox River Grill", standard hot plate station, a sandwich line, a fridge with prepackaged salads and plenty of tables and seats. The standard ho-hum fare of pizza, hot dogs and french fries are here.

However, the intriguing part is you can also purchase some exotic dishes such as buffalo burger ($6.99), venison bratwurst, etc. As for the cold cut sandwiches, there are elk ($7.29), bison, ostrich ... The wild boar sandwich ($7.99) resembles thin-cut pastrami, but has a delicate sweetness, like HoneyBaked ham, and is darn delicious.
