Quick! Need a place for tonight!

Hi there! We're going to a play at the Theatre Building at 1225 W. Belmont, and we desperately want some good soup. Where is there a restaurant near there (or on the way back towards Niles), in the mid- to low-price range, open past 10pm, with tasty food and even tastier soup? No sushi, Chinese, or fast-food type joints please.

I've always liked the soups at Fireside Restaurant, 5739 N. Ravenswood. Their kitchen is open late.

Good call, Fireside's kitchen is open very late, well after midnight, maybe as late as 2am, and I'm guessing the solid American fare will appeal to Pie Lady.
