Tonight my friends and I were going to Tank Noodle for the first time, but I just read that it was closed for the month and when I called, no one answered. Literally my friends are suppose to be over by 8pm and we are all craving Vietnamese.
Any other suggestions please?

Post #2 - January 2nd, 2009, 7:57 pmHai Yen is a reliable spot on Argyle. I especially like their Vietnamese crepe appetizer and the steamed sea bass entree. They also offer the seven courses of beef which is fun and tasty. For the record, I do prefer the food at Tank, but Hai Yen offers good food in a comfortable setting.

Post #5 - January 3rd, 2009, 5:16 pmThank you guys, we landed up going to Hai Yen and it was very good. We got the catfish in the clay pot with sugarcane, pho, chicken with lemongrass and a few other dishes, but all in all it was a great choice.
