I only know of four in the Schaumburg / Hoffman Estates area, and they are Thai House, Thai Garden, Suchada, and Taste of Thai. They are listed such that they become progressively better.

Anyway, who here has tried any of these four? And what other Thai restaurants would you recommend in the other NW suburbs?

I've got no experience with any of those, but Siri Thai in Hanover Park is outstanding. It's a little south and west of your target area, but worth it.

I am not into evaluation which Thai place is the best but this place is pretty good and has some great lunch specials in the $5.95-6.95 price range. It IS the best Thai place in Crystal Lake.

I work out here in Scumburg, so I go to those Thai restaurants for lunch occasionally. So all my opninions are based on lunch specials...

I like the lunch special soup (Tom Yum) at Thai Garden, and the lunch special spring rolls at Taste of Thai. But I like the entrees the most at Siri Thai II in downtown Palatine (their soup is awful, though!). When they say Chinese brocolli in the menu description they mean Chinese Brocolli (looks like yu choy). And when they say something is spicy they mean it!
