Polish mulled beer?

Post #1 - January 30th, 2009, 10:37 amI have a British friend of Indian descent coming to viist in February, so naturally, she desperately wants to go out for some Polish food. She is game for pretty much anything, but mentioned that if possible, she would like to have some mulled beer. I don't drink beer, and have never heard of such a thing, but apparently it involves cranberries. Where might one find this magical substance, preferably north of the Loop?

Damn, I've been reading some of those old threads and getting hungry. There are no decent pierogies anywhere near the Loop, are there?
