No website but a strong recommendation from a friend for their catering. Anyone ever heard of them? Like them?

I had Pizza Paddle as a kid, probably 15-20 years ago, when they used to be at Arl Hts Rd & Palatine Rd. They had very thin crust pizza. Sorry, can't provide a more recent data point.

Metromix & Yelp have some reviews - for what they're worth.

I ordered a sausage thin crust a couple of years ago. Lots of cornmeal on the bottom of the crust. Wasn't impressed. Actually, I'm not impressed with any thin crust pizza places in the Arlington Heights area.

Nino's has a good thin crust and Joe's in Wheeling has one as well.

We often order from Nino's. I'm not crazy about the pizza. I do like their fried chicken.

My wife likes Joe's but I don't. The problem I have with Joe's is the cheese. I like their crust but I take the cheese off the pizza. Way too much grease for me.

I like Gulo's, but it's been a while since I had it. I used to live in Buffalo Grove, so Gulo's and Joe's were two of the main places I'd order from to get thin pizza.

Gulo's actually moved across the parking lot to a slightly bigger location. Many years ago I bought 4 pizzas from Gulo's and 4 pizzas from Joe's and my family had a pizza taste test. I think Gulo's won overall, but I can't remember. Joe's is very greasy, but that imparts flavor (it certainly looks like they use whole milk cheese) not just "grease." Joe's is also a somewhat dingy restaurant. You'll know what I mean when you go there. They put the pizza in a bag, not a box (which is annoying), but it's really old school. Look at their old menus on the wall.

Bottom line - Both are worth checking out if you love really thin, tavern style pizza.
