    Hi,

I'm planning to take my girlfriend to sunday-brunch and dinner for her birthday and am looking for suggestions in the chicago area. For brunch, something organic and healthy would be nice; for dinner, something romantic.

    Thanks!

Publican is starting brunch this Sunday, but I'm guessing even though it will be totally delicious, it probably isn't healthy. Instead, maybe try any of the following: Green Zebra in Noble Square, Victory's Banner in Roscoe Village (will probably be packed on sunday), Uncommon Ground on Clark or Devon, Karyn's Raw in Lincoln Park (i've never tried this, but if you like expensive raw food, this is where it's at) — just to name a few.

I don't know if these two use organic ingredients, but Lula's and Bite both have really tasty and healthy brunch options as well. I guess it all depends on what neighborhood or type of brunch you're gearing towards, but these are all good starting points.

Could you give us a few more specifics? What part of town, how far are you willing to go, what's your price range, what kind of food?

As always, you might want to review the GNR list, which is sorted a number of different ways (location, type of food, etc.)

Thanks for your response guys. Any neighborhood in chitown is good for us - Andersonville, Lincoln Square, Pilsen, West Loop, South Loop, Near North, Oak Park, Ravenswood, Rogers Park, Evanston, Hyde Park etc.
Price range is flexible. For dinner, I'd like something with nice ambience, romantic, not too loud but not too lonely either.

    Thanks!
