I was just posting a response to another thread, and the subject of guilty pleasure hangover cures came up. Those meals that we have that are borderline embarrasing, that we would never eat if we didn't feel so bad, that are wonderful but grotesque spectacles of grease and starch.

    Comfort food on steriods.

For me it's not so much what I eat, as it is how much I eat. For me it's sandwiches, and a lot of them that cure me-- cheese steaks (Philly's Best), Italian Beef (Al's/Portillos) any sort of breakfast sandwich (the best one's come from home with fried eggs, sausage, cream cheese, grilled onions and peppers, served on crusty, toasted sourdough), Cuban sandwiches ($2.75 @ La Unica), Tortas (Taqueria Oaxaquena), Gyros (Costa's or where ever).

    Your brethren are here.

When I read these, I always hope these people don't drive home in the condition they like to allude to.

I should have known that there was already a hangover cure post here. Shame on me for not checking first.
