SALERNO's PIZZA HODGKINS, IL (Right near The Quarry Theatre)

NAV MAN, NAV WOMAN, Pete (NAV MAN's brother in-law), and Anissa (Pete's gal pal) are heading to the Quarry theatre tonight for a late showing of Sasha Baron Cohen's latest laugh-roar "Bruno" tonight and The NAV MAN was hoping to have a pizza/pitcher combo before the show.

Pete loves to put the cold ones back and hammer down some thin crust 'za and I heard a place called Salerno's, from what I understand a 'pizza based' casual italian eatery, recently opened up.

Is this true? Has any LTHer been there? How was it? Help a NAV MAN out!

Should be similar to the outpost in Oak Park.

The food is good while not as great as a GNR and everybody should be happy. The beer should be nice and cold. They are better known for the thicker pizza's and I can bet the thin crust will not be 'cracker'.
