Post #1 - July 21st, 2009, 8:08 amThis Saturday, I'm going to be with 2 kids, 13 and 11 who are not adventurous eaters. They'll eat a hamburger and Italian. What's nearby that fits that criteriia and might also be a place I won't mind eating at.

Post #3 - July 21st, 2009, 8:49 amIf the weather is good, Green on Grant park is our favorite spot to take our kids after the park. It feels like your are on a mini vacation and our 4yr old and 2 yr old eat so well there. Food is reasonable(and good) but drinks are on the pricey side. You can also play a round of putt-putt!

Post #4 - July 21st, 2009, 11:21 amWe went to the Gage (based on posts from this board!) with our slightly younger kids, they got the burger and fish & chips which were both great. I got a steak salad with watermelon, feta, basil, mint and balsamic, also really good.

Post #6 - July 22nd, 2009, 9:46 amWe've gone to Pizano's with the kids after Millennium Park events before. I think the thin crust pizza is pretty good there and it's pretty darn close. I would reserve a table though. It gets pretty crowded but I had no problem making a reservation for a large group.

I made reservations at Pizano's because I know the kids will like it but I'm going to also see what Park Grill looks like so we might just eat there if possible. Just found out it's Venetian Night so I think Millenium Park might be a little crazy.

Cheesy beef with giardinara on garlic bread - highly recommended.
