Post #1 - October 7th, 2009, 9:53 pmRecently my dad was telling me about one of his favorite dishes from when he was growing up in Turkey called billur kebap. He said if I could find a restaurant in Chicago that prepared animelles, rocky mountain oysters, lamb fries, really any preparation of testicles (there I said it) he'd be on the first plane out here.
So anyone know of good animelle preparations in the area?

Post #4 - October 8th, 2009, 9:30 amWhen I lived in Tucson I was a member of the Mountain Oyster Club, a private drinking/dining establishment popular with cattle ranchers and though such oysters were featured prominently on the menu - I didn't find the time to sample them.
