Help! Need birthday luncheon suggestions - VanBuren & Canal

Hi everyone...
Some friends are taking me to lunch today for my birthday and it's my pick. Looking for a place that's reasonably priced ($15 entrees). Anything within about a mile radius from Canal & Van Buren would be great!

We usually go to GreekTown, Blackies, Pazzos, Rest. in Willis Tower, Poah Mahones... so I'm looking for something outside of these options.

Oh and if you have any menu suggestions, that would be awesome as well!

A couple of quick thoughts:

Casual, and good home-style cooking/Italian: Bombacigno's J & C Restaurant on Van Buren.

More formal and good food: Sepia, on Jefferson near Randolph.
