cafe babareeba improved?

Has anyone been recently-according to an unreliable source (Chicago Mag) it has improved within the last 3 months or so. Thanks.

I went in mid-December 2009, and was surprised at how much more interesting their menu looked compared to a few years before (which was the last time I'd gone). We had a group of 12 so we were able to sample quite a few of the tapas items (most of the "basics" plus a few specials), and I found them all to be much improved.

I was there in early December, and it was definitely improved over a March 2009 meal--but that one was arguably the worst meal I had all last year. I find most items to be overly sweet, though the ham and grilled seafood items are serviceable; don't go looking for socorrat from the paella, though.

The room and atmosphere, however, are still great.
