Has anyone eaten here? I can't seem to find much about it other than it's part of Curds n Whey which is some kind of distributor, I think. I've read a couple of good things, but can't find a menu.....help?

We go to Inglenook now and then, they are of Pennsylvania Dutch ancestry and serve some items of that nature. Generally they have a buffet which has cold and hot items and excellent soups. Meals are very simple, like a strogonoff or sausages and kraut. They also host Geneva's winter Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings and have a deli counter where you can buy sausages, lunch meat, cheeses and breads daily. I know the owner does go to his family home in Lancaster Pennsylvania fairly often to stock his restaurant and store. Sorry I can't give more details, we shop the Farmers Market often but haven't eaten there in a year because I can no longer negotiate the steps.

I should add that you can order off a menu it's just that we never have, generally going for the buffet and getting several bowls of their wonderfully rich soups. They used to have a bakery and still do all their own baking, I think you can order cakes and pastries from them. And yes, they make shoo fly pie!

Thanks so much. i didn't realize the market ran in the winter, much less at Inglenooks. Also, I have been on the hunt for fresh eggs for months (without having to drive forever!) That just planned out next Saturday perfectly!
