Since I moved to Niles 8 years ago I have watched this location open with so much hope.....and then fail.... :(
So when the third owner moved in I was already mourning for his business.
They have sent ads to my house...never went
    They have sent coupons.....never went
I just didn't want to get attached....
Then... I had to run to the Oak-Mill Jewel tonight and as I was leaving I decided to try it due to serious hunger (yes, I know I had just left Jewel, but it was just for coffee!!)

The decor hasn't changed much in the past three owners. Clean, bright, 50's-ish diner-y.
They have a pretty big menu but they had alot of signage for their Italian beef.
I had an Italian beef sandwich.....I can't remember when I last had one so tasty!
It wasn't the biggest beef, but it more than did the job. The beef was thinly sliced and sooo tender and fresh. The gravy made my tongue dance it was so happy!
The fresh cut fires were awesome! You could tell they used good oil.
Hubby had an Italian sausage sandwich and said it was amazing.
I just googled them and it says that they deliver....this could be scary! (for my waistline!)

    HI,

At least two locations at this address are mentioned on this board. I find it interesting Celli's and another restaurant at this location have the same phone number.

    Regards,

At first I thought you meant it was in that Oak Mill Mall. I still mourn that bakery that I never got around to visiting.

I'll have to try Celli's...thanks for the update! One of my favorite memories was from when it was still a diner (before it was Lou's). A teenage boy and girl both ducked into the single-serve bathroom and were in there quite some time. Then the girl came out laughing uproariously and joined her friend waiting outside. The boy came out shortly thereafter looking very sullen.

Celli's is donating pies for the Ice Cream & Pie Social mentioned here. I didn't know they sold pies. Anyone try them?
