Does anyone remember Sahara on Lincoln?

In the late nineties/turn of the century my favorite restaurant was Sahara on Lincoln across the street from Lincoln vilage. It was once featured in Cheap Eats. They served Middle Easter/Persian food. I can still recall the taste of a creamy eggplant dish, but have not found it anywhere else. Does anyone have a recollection of the restaurant and any ideas as to which country the cuisine was specific to? Thanks
