Toscana Grill is - as you of course know from the name - a Bosnian fast food joint. A very, very good one. Sandwiches are the thing here, and almost all are served on outstanding lepinja which is baked by the store's matriarch every morning. Made-in-house condiments such as light-textured, milky sour cream with subtle tang and the sweet, strong, peppery ajvar elevate these sandwiches further. Various meat fillings such as cevapcici and sudzuk, which I like, and pljeskavica, which I don't, come from a local maker and are good quality. There are also fast food standards such as chicken sandwiches, hot dogs and Italian beef. Fries are very crisp and well-salted.

But really, it's all about the lepinja and the condiments. Great stuff.

My post about Toscana Grill seemed to go straight to the big, empty LTHForum echo chamber, and I think I know why: No pictures!

Here's one. Now go check the place out.
