Saw that this place opened up recently in Bridgeport. Piecing together the chef's Google trail leads me to believe that he is/was the clubhouse chef for the White Sox. In need of a quick sandwich today, I gave it a go.

Checked out the menu on my way in:

I was going to attempt to chat the chef up to get the skinny on his shop. But as it is a two man operation, I left the man whom the logo resembled and his sous to their business. The homemade meatball sandwich topped with mozzarella, provolone and red sauce on shallot garlic bread was my pick.

The good-sized sandwich survived a three block trip piping hot. Sweet sauce complimented the bread nicely. Meatballs were solid in both taste and texture.
Going by this sandwich, I'd return. The menu promises a full menu and new hours coming soon. Overall, it seems as if this joint is going for straightforward over flash and will make a nice addition to the neighborhood.
