Best Chinatown restaurant for vegetarian plus alcohol?

Planning a birthday dinner for a friend who is vegetarian. Her parents would prefer a place with drinks. I've looked at all the Tony Hu places but does anyone else have other suggestions? Kind of interested in Lao You Ju but what else is there along those lines (cocktails plus decent food)?
