Big Ed's Bar and Grill - Waukegan

After much discussion of Ed's Waukegan location in the RUB - Vernon Hills thread, I thought it was time
to start one of its own.

My understanding is that Big Ed will be getting a Southern Pride smoker in the near future. Currently, he is smoking baby backs on Saturdays only apparently in a drum smoker.

We finally got up there a few weeks ago, but Ed was at a competition (he is the only one who does the smoking) and there were no ribs that day. There was nothing else on the menu from his North Chicago location.

We will try again soon, but will call first to make sure ribs are available. Ed surely had the "touch" in North Chicago and I hope it continues in Waukegan.

Has anyone had the baby backs there?
