Got over to the Roma's yesterday evening. Met Fred, the new owner, and had a really nice chat. Ordered for me and the kid, to go order, Italian chicken sandwich. It's garlic bread toasted on the griddle, grilled chicken breast, lettuce, tomato, melted mozzarella. Italian sausage, dipped, with sweet and hot peppers. Excellent flavor to the sausage, with a nice mouth feel, really tasty peppers. Fries are the old Roma's recipe, skins on, excellent flavor, actually tasted better than previous owner. Slice of sausage pizza. Good basic pizza with tasty sausage, 3 bucks a slice, nice size slice too.

Their pop is now self serve, Pepsi products.

They still have the seeds too. Italian ice too.

    Delivery available.

One of the best things is the great attitude from everyone behind the counter. They are very happy to see you as a customer. That's a refreshing change for this place.

Fred, the owner, used to own Lukes on Harlem Ave.

Uh oh. :| Does it still offer Green River soda?
(And, not that I ever ordered it, Chelli's Chili?)
