Visited on Day 1 (it's on until 8/9), and I didn't have much time, so I only had a chance to sample the Ukrainian pork dumplings (12 of them and a slosh of sour cream for $6) from Shokolad, a vendor who rarely disappoints at these sort of things, and I wasn't disappointed. I hope to be back to try some of the other offerings at Shokolad and the other vendors as well (Korean and British, both of whose menus looked quite interesting, far more interesting than what I found at Taste of Chicago this year, as well as Kasia's, Las Tablas, and Caffe Gelato).
"The fork with two prongs is in use in northern Europe. In England, they’re armed with a steel trident, a fork with three prongs. In France we have a fork with four prongs; it’s the height of civilization." Eugene Briffault (1846)
