I've had bagels from Schmaltz many times and they are okay - but they are not even close to New York Bagel and Bialy on Touhy. Anyone have suggestions for another place that is closer to Downers Grove than Skokie or the city? Looks like the Onion Roll in Oak Park has NY Bagel and Bialy bagels, but that is still not a quick trip...better off going to the source.

Greenwood Deli - New York Bagel and Bialy in Niles at 8974 W. Dempster might be a little easier to reach off of I-294.

Check with NYB&B. They deliver their goods to many places . . . maybe somewhere near you.

Agreed. This is my go to for bagels in the NW burbs.

I really enjoy the mini bagels for my morning lox&bagel, sometimes the mini doesn't measure up to the quality of a full size, here it does.
I did absolutely nothing and it was everything I thought it could be.

I guess I'm going to have to give NYB&B another try. Wasn't impressed the last time I bought bagels there.
