Nami - New Sushi Spot on Montrose

My husband and I tried Nami Sushi last night. It's in the former Roong Petch space, and they've updated it nicely. We were very pleasantly surprised. We started with the smoky roll, which we enjoyed - fresh and beautifully presented. For me, the entrées were the star. We each had a nigiri platter, which for 8 lovely and fresh pieces of nigiri along with a tuna roll seemed like a steal at $21. Again, it was wonderfully presented, and we both enjoyed the fresh wasabi they included. I'd asked them to not give me octopus, and they were happy to oblige. It was quite empty - only one other table of diners - so I'm hoping word gets out. It's a great addition to Ravenswood. We will definitely be back.
