PDQ Chicken

According to their website, PDQ "People Dedicated to Quality" has 2 locations in Chicagoland, one in Schaumburg & one in Wheaton. I went to the Schaumburg location for lunch today.

Tried two items: crispy tenders and Pimento Crunch sandwich

Tenders were good sized, indeed crispy, but I thought had an off taste I believe from the oil. Sweet Sriracha sauce was sweet but was balanced well with heat. Thai Peanut was surprisingly decent. Sauce sizes are VERY small so ask for additional if sauce is your thing. They do have a number of other sauces to choose from.

The Pimento Crunch I wasn't really looking forward to after the off taste of the tenders but turns out with the bacon, pimento cheese & other ingredients, the off taste wasn't there. This is a very hearty, good tasting sandwich, unlike the nearby competitor Chick Fil A. Not rushing over anytime soon but I'd order this again.
