Dined at three places over the weekend.
Three totally different experiences.
Scylla:
food is good-great oysters, lobster "profiteroles"- interesting flavors, and short rib raviolis-pretty good, decent octopus salad
ingredients seem to be first-rate-things could use a little more seasoning
service was not that friendly and not super concerned
Parlor:
Food is pretty simple stuff but done well-claim to fame, i guess, according to Chicago Mag is the meatloaf, bar is very cool, friendly people
Landmark:
Killer Bar Menu-had potato latkes, tuna nicoise salad, brandade with toast points(all fab) and some great pizza. looked at the Main Menu-looked interesting
Room is dramatic
