I am seeking a good bistro near Boul Mich for a weekend dinner. Can anyone comment on Bistro 110?

just the fact that they give you a whole head of roasted garlic with your bread after being seated makes them a nice place to got to if only for appetizers. One of my favorite apps ther is their Artichoke. it's got melted brie inside along with a dijon mustard sauce - deelicious!

I haven't eaten any of their entrees in a few years, so i can't comment on that.

How broad is your definition? 110 has all the clatter, crowding and bustle of a real bistro. And certainly they have always done some things pretty well. (A really damn fine creme brulee - at least as of a few years ago.) Used to also do some very nice oven roasted mushrooms w/ garlic and other assertive, garlicky side dishes. Their classic roast chicken used to be quite worthy as well.

There's also Bandera - not a bistro per se - but classic grilled/broiled dishes - good meat, bustling atmosphere. Much more American than continental.

Nice things have been said about the cafe in Nordstrom's, but it's certainly not a bistro.
"Strange how potent cheap music is."

You might also consider Bistro Zinc just off Michigan Ave a little bit. Vibrant open atmospehere with good not great entrees. Stick with the escargot, steak frites and duck confit...
