Marco Conti (from Marco!, Ferrari, Pearl) - anything new?

Even though I never went to Pearl, and thought Ferrari was over-the-top, I thought Marco! was the closest thing to true Tuscan dining in Chicago and greatly miss it.

Anyone know if Marco Conti is working on anything new?

LTH may also recall Marco Conti from long departed La Locanda and Risotteria Nord. I thought La Locanda served some of the finest Northern Italian food in Chicago back in the day, particularly the best Risotto I've eaten outside of Italy. Does anyone know if he is somewhere on the food scene these days?

La Locanda reappeared in a Scottsdale, AZ strip mall, good as ever, a decade back. Sans Marco. Might still be there. I'd love to know what he's up to, too.

Thanks for the info. A mysterious and unfortunate departure. Hopefully he'll emerge someday again.
