Took a day off today, ventured down 111th street toward Harlem to try a place called Atotonilco...time for a Torta and I was very pleasantly surprised. As a member for a bit on this site I had inquired about good food in and around Beverly..this was recommended and I must agree.
Being Ash Wednesday and all I did not sample the Goat meat tacos or beef head Burritos, Birra and Cabeza respectively, nor the Ostiones (Oysters) nor the Coctel de Cameron, although I am sure the Pope would forgive me on those choices...But wonder of wonders i decided upon a simple Ahuacates Torta, Avacado, creamy, on a fresh baked Long Torta, with just the right amount of tomato, lettuce, onion and sour cream, with a side of pickled carrot slices...Nirvana..Do try them

The second part of this post conerns ....

    Ed's Potstickers...
I have searched all the links, all the threads, all the sites, all the facts and photos...so do please forgive me for asking again ...the perfect meal at Ed's for a group of 10...

I will preorder and surprise all of my sort of inhibited South Side girlfriends...your suggestions are very much appreciated...believe me I have ideas. but I look forward to other comments.

    Merci Mucho..
