I have always been interested in this restaurant but living west of the Fox River, I am not very motivated about coming in to Chicago. Recently I found out that Reza's has opened in Oak Brook and yesterday we had a chance to try it out. The restaurant is in the lower level of a high rise condo on Butterfield Road, walking up to the place, the smells were heavenly. We were seated in the room with the buffet, only later did we notice another room so the place is much larger than appears. Our waiter was delightful and charming (we- three women), always teasinly trying to tempt us in to something but very helpful in explaining items on the menu. My two companions decided to do the Sunday buffet while I was tempted by the grilled lamb chops off the menu. Considering one of my friends is vegetarian, there was plenty on the buffet to keep both of them very happy, a wide variety ranging from appetizers to lamb shank. While waiting for my meal, I was delievered a plate of 2 large feta pieces, parsley and radishes and a basket of warm pita. I also was served a tomato based soup that was heavily herbed. I had orded couscous as my side and was astounded when it came totally filling a 9" oval dish! The lamb chops, on a plate of their own, were perfection, 3 of them 2 ribs thick each and rarer to the side of medium rare, a wonderful taste. My friends followed their meal with a very strong rich coffee, I was happy with my water which was refilled quickly. By the time we left, the place was packed with a long line for the buffet. We will happily go back, the food was wonderful with friendly and efficient service.

I agree.I've only eaten at the N Clark location a couple times but i truly enjoyed it.Both times i had the kabobs-one with big juicy shrimp and one with the Swarma (sp) cooked medium rare. They do really set you up there and are super nice to boot.I like that place.

I belief the buffet mentioned is served for lunch at each location everyday of the week.

I love the Reza's on Clark. I can't say enough good things about the many well prepared, well rounded, and filling meals that I've had there at such a reasonable price. Service is always good.

I'm nearly a vegetarian, and I love their stuffed pepper entree. They're stuffed with your choice of spinach or mushrooms and cheese. They're surrounded by tomato sauce and rice. Very simple, but extremely tasty and satisying. With the soup, cheese, bread, and everything else, I always end up taking home one of the two peppers.

They have great tea and coffee. They also have a donut-like, long dessert that's very pleasant.

Although I have not been to the OakBrook location, based on the positive review here, I'm more anxious to get there. It's near my office.
