After years of futile breakfast searches along the strip malls and corridors of York, St. Charles, and North, we finally found a place worthy of, if not necessarily a detour, a morning stop. Christopher's is a basic Greek diner, open only for breakfast and lunch, and after two successful spinach (fresh) and feta (very fresh) omelettes (full and juicy), a perfect over easy, and some very impressive-looking "skillets" (a bit too imposing and comprehensive for me to order, tho), I'll go out on a limb and say that this is a place that cares about eggs. Other basic stuff on the menu (yes, they have biscuits and gravy) seem worthy of exploration, but for the time being I'm grateful for the omelettes.

"The fork with two prongs is in use in northern Europe. In England, they’re armed with a steel trident, a fork with three prongs. In France we have a fork with four prongs; it’s the height of civilization." Eugene Briffault (1846)
